How to giffgaff an iPhone
It’s quick and easy to use all the features of your iPhone on giffgaff and save a packet while you’re at it. Simply follow our instructions below and you’ll be up and running in no time.
Order SIM
First things first – order a free SIM (or if you have an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, a free micro SIM). Both will come with £5 free credit when you activate them.
Unlock phone
Ensure that your iPhone is unlocked or on O2. For more information about unlocking your iPhone, check out the Unlockapedia.
Input settings
From the Home Screen navigate to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network and input the following settings:

Once you’ve done all this you just need to turn your phone off and on again and your iPhone will now be fully giffgaffed! ![]()
Does Facetime work?
Yes, Facetime will work perfectly.
How do I activate voicemail?
Voicemail is automatically enabled but you can turn it off by dialling #004# and turn it on by dialling *004#. The voicemail button won’t work but if you go here you can add a new voicemail icon to your home screen. Or you can always access voicemail by dialling 443.
Can I use visual voicemail?
No, there is no visual voicemail at the moment but there are easy alternatives available such as HulloMail.
Can I add a voicemail button to my Home Screen?
Yes, the existing voicemail button won’t work but if you click this link on your iPhone then press Cancel when asked to call 443. Then simply press the + button at the bottom of the screen and choose Add to Home Screen. You can then give your new Voicemail button a name before adding it. Or you can always access voicemail by dialling 443.
Are there any special giffgaff apps for iPhone?
