Roaming rates
giffgaff‘s roaming charges are pretty simple – it all depends where you are. There are different rates for Europe and the Rest of the world. giffgaff‘s roaming charges are much more expensive than their usual rates but they are lower priced than their competitors and their Europe rates and messaging charges are very cheap.
All outgoing calls are charged in second increments after the first thirty seconds and all incoming calls are charged in second increments from the very beginning). If you are abroad and you want to send a text message, it’s also worth noting that MMS messages can include text as well as images. This means that each MMS can be much longer than the 160 character limit of SMS texts, can work out to be great value. This is especially true when you are roaming outside of Europe as sending an MMS is actually cheaper than sending a text.
Europe
