I have been on Giffgaff for 2 months now. All I can say is that I am amazed with the service for such a low cost (£10 goodybag) and delighted that I have switched from o2 where I was paying £41/m and only getting 500mb data.
I live to the west of London and the signal has been rock solid. Internet speeds have been excellent.
The only issue I have had is that I can’t top up via credit/debit card as I get the card declined message. I just go to my local store and buy a Giffgaff voucher and top up that way. It is an inconvenience but a small price to pay for the amount of money I am saving per month.
I have also been helping out on that forums. I am not an expert by any means, but I have been able to give a few pointers to a few people.
I have been trying to recruit as many people as I can, which is not as easy as I thought it would be. People are very sceptical as most people have never heard of GG. The ones I have recruited are also over the moon so I hope to get a few others soon.
Overall, I am delighted and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
If you are one of the people that are not quite sure about GG yet, get a SIM (you can use my link if you like :smileywink:) and try it out for a month. There is no contract so you have nothing to lose really.
I joined Giff Gaff about 6 months ago,I brought a cheap unlocked phone and got a sim card from Giff Gaff to try them out ! I never had any problems at all.Only once did I lose a signal but I was right out in the sticks up in Scotland so no surprise really.I have got 26 family and friends and growing on Giff Gaff now and not one off them has had any problems with Giff Gaff either and they are very happy with Giff Gaff.
So if you are thinking about moving over to Giff Gaff and a bit worried ! just buy a cheap phone to try them out first ? I can assure you that you will not be disappointed at all, after a few weeks you will also be getting your friends and family on Giff Gaff.I used to spend around £20/£25 per month on my other net work “now” I only top up with a £10 goody bag so it’s a big saving for me,my family and friends are also making big savings on Giff Gaff and they are getting there family and friends on Giff Gaff.
The only down fall I have found is that my wife keeps ringing me up now it’s free to ring me grrr LOL.Go for it get a cheap unlocked phone and Giff Gaff sim card and I bet in a few weeks time you wished you done it sooner.
I DO NOT work for Giff Gaff just telling how it is.
